ProductTanks, created by Mind the Product, are informal meetups that bring local product people together and provide a space to new speakers to share amazing product insights. In October we hosted 60 meetups around the world, and in this article we will highlight a few.

We also held our first ProductTank Organizer Summit and our Product Community Lead, Valeria Khokhlova, summarises it: 'We recently hosted our very first ProductTank Organizer Summit at Pendomonium in Raleigh, NC—a milestone event where 40+ organizers from around the world came together to connect, collaborate, and celebrate their achievements. Throughout the summit, we shared meals, exchanged invaluable insights, and workshopped ideas on how to keep growing and strengthening our community. It was an inspiring experience, filled with camaraderie and a collective commitment to making each local ProductTank chapter even better. We left Raleigh energized and full of ideas, ready to take our communities to new heights.'

Our Ptank organiser, Pritam Das, shared:

‘Tonight, Product Tank Chicago ( Mind the Product ) had the opportunity to host an extraordinary event featuring the legendary Marty Cagan It was incredible to see the product community come together and dive deep into the Product Operating Model, gaining insights directly from the man who’s redefined product management as we know it.

A massive thank you to the incredible Product Tank Chicago community for showing up in full force and with such enthusiasm!’

'🎉 A Weekend of Learning and Collaboration! 🎉

We’re excited to share the highlights from our recent event, “Streamlining Product Development and Management,” co-hosted by Product Tank Pune and Codewalla on October 19th at the Codewala office.

With around 45 passionate product enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds, including Product Management and Engineering, the event was a fantastic learning experience!

🌟 Our esteemed speakers:

Rajesh R. dived deep into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), sharing insights on Product Thinking vs. Project Thinking, managing constraints, and the critical role of AI in SDLC. He also highlighted the impact of AI-augmented DevOps tools across the development lifecycle.

LoveKshitij Suryavanshi shared his experience on the Role of Product Managers in D2C (Direct-to-Consumer). His session covered the D2C landscape, common distribution channels, roadmap creation, collaboration with non-tech teams, top metrics to track, and strategic product management at various stages of the D2C journey.

🗣️ The sessions were interactive, filled with practical examples, and the Q&A segments offered great learning opportunities for all attendees.

A huge thanks to our speakers Rajesh R. and LoveKshitij Suryavanshi for their invaluable insights and for sharing their real-world experiences.

🙏 Special appreciation to the Codewalla Team for being incredible hosts, and a heartfelt thanks to Aishwarya D Devade for her tireless efforts in making this event a success.

👏 And of course, a big shoutout to all the enthusiastic participants—your engagement and passion made this event memorable.'

One of the organisers, Thomas Knox, shared a write up from their 10th event:

'And that's a wrap on Product Tank Brno's 10th event! Let's Play!

Huge shout out to Martin Michalik, Pavel Šafařík, Hana Kubišová, Jana Švecová, and Dominik Michna for the amazing event and keeping the flame of Czech Republic's product community brightly burning! 🔥

A massive thanks to our amazing speakers Petr Škorňok, Martin Kuchař, and Jarek Kolar for showing us behind the scenes on how games are built and the challenges and rewards of taking on such a monumental undertaking 🎮 🕹

Also, none of this would be possible without the great sponsors JIC - business with a purpose, Google Cloud, and Notino - you're helping cultivate a meaningful community of our tech leaders that are building the future!

When we kicked this off in 2016, we could have never imagined the scale it would become today. We thought it would be a fun and small group to share ideas, successes, failures, and build relationships with interesting people. It's amazing to see what it's become!'

Michelle Tarr, Product Manager at UK Hydrographic Office, attended our ProductTank meetup in Bristol and
'Did you know that Product Management runs in my family? 🧬 👯‍♀️

This is my identical twin sister and fellow UKHO Product Manager Nadine Matthews giving a talk at ProductTank Bristol, sponsored by the brilliant Pilotworks. Nadine gave a brutally honest overview of what to do ‘when it all goes to s**t’! Her top 5 tips were to:

In October we welcomed a new ProductTank chapter: Jacksonville. Read Mayte Vela's words:
'The new faces, the shaking hands, the adrenaline of interacting with new people. Some approached me tonight, saying, "Thank you so much for organizing this, thank you for bringing Product Tank here!" I wasn't expecting the openness, warmth, and welcoming atmosphere. We anticipated 20-25 attendees, but nearly 50 showed up, resulting in almost 100% RSVP attendance rate! 😳

I'm truly honored to funnel opportunities for others to grow, create, and learn. It made me so happy to facilitate this event! I tried to freeze the moment for a second and look around to see everyone talking, smiling, and nodding-it reminded me that we are made for connection. And it's evident that Jax's product people have a hunger for more! 🤩🚀

If anyone is interested in being a speaker, a sponsor, or volunteering to help for future events, you are more than welcome!🙌🏼

Thank you to the amazing ProductTank Jax team Jennifer Bradshaw, Kenneth Hall and big thank you to Curtis Michelson for coming to help open his first NEW chapter. Check out the pictures-we cut the red ribbon with the founding PT Jax members!'

Make sure you don’t miss out on these free community events! Check out a ProductTank near you.
